Eirodys, the Mother of Wisdom

Description

Of Miagne's three facets, Eirodys suffered the most fatal blow, very nearly being erased from eternity by the twin god's strike.  Her form remained weak and fragile even while sustained by a temporary human vessel; it was not until Evelyn ascended, sacrificing her mortal form to heal the goddess, that Eirodys regained her strength.  Her domain is the endless waters and the constant rains, and she is associated with all life amongst it.  Early scholars confused Eirodys with the Moon deity, Selune, for her affinity with aquatic life.  However, while Eirodys is said to dwell within the oceans, Selune merely holds power over the tides.

Mature content warning for implied divine nudity.  The second of my goddess paintings, and I'm honestly rather pleased with how this turned out?  It was intended that her hair blends in with a waterfall, but I realized halfway through that I suck at rendering waterfalls.  That's a waterfall, guys.

You can read more about Eirodys and her significance to the story here on my website, and you can also see what daily tidbits have been released this month here.  Check back daily, as it's my goal to have new content available for you guys to check up on every day (more or less, haha).
